Space in Ibiza is one of the most famous clubs in the world, It has history, it has created hero’s, it has created trends, fashions, its broke the bank for people scraping the money to be able to afford to go, Its made labels big, its hosted 22 hour parties, It was the after party venue for the legendary Manumission, it was the best place on the earth to dance in the sun and most of all it plays the worlds best music!

When space opens it signals that Ibiza is open for the party season! In the last couple of seasons the authorities in Ibiza have clamped down on the opening hours of the clubs on the island so they are not aloud to open between 6am and 4.30pm, this doesn’t sound much but if you have partied in Ibiza, going clubbing in the morning and day time was a large part of it.

To overcome this in 2010 Space will be having a two day opening party, it will be on the Saturday and its traditional day Sunday.

I think ive bigged up the club enough, why have i done this? Well for a club of this stature they need a Dj to fit, if your in the best club in the world then you expect to be hearing the best Music in the world and on May 31st Carl Cox will be headlining space in Ibiza.

Carl has his own night in Space which starts a few weeks later however he will be smashing space to pieces, I would predict a more funky set from him if he plays in the Daytime but i really hope he plays two sets, one in the daytime and one in the evening inside , were he can get dirty with his own brand of Techno!
